Cookie Policy

The cookies sentrix.ca uses: one strictly necessary cookie for your consent choice, Google Analytics 4 only after you accept, no marketing cookies.

Last updated 2026-09-17. This policy explains what cookies sentrix.ca uses, why, and how you can manage your choice.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit. This site uses a single first-party cookie of its own and, only with your consent, the cookies of Google Analytics. No consent record is kept on our servers: your choice lives in your browser.

2. Our cookie categories

Strictly necessary

Required for the site to respect your choice. This cookie contains no personal information and cannot be disabled.

Analytics (requires consent)

These help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. They are activated only after you accept the analytics category. Google Analytics 4 operates under Google Consent Mode v2 with advertising storage denied: no cookie is set and no data is sent to Google until consent is granted. If you withdraw consent, the cookies below are cleared.

Marketing

We do not use marketing or advertising cookies on sentrix.ca.

3. How to manage your choice

Click « Manage cookies » in the footer of any page to reopen the consent modal and change your choice at any time. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; deleting the sentrix_consent cookie makes the modal appear again on your next visit.

4. Changes to this policy

If we add a tracker or materially change how we use cookies, we will update this page and the date at the top, and the consent modal will ask for your choice again.

5. Contact

Frequently asked questions

Which cookies does sentrix.ca set without asking?
Only one: sentrix_consent, which stores the choice you make in the consent modal so that we do not ask again on every page. It is kept for 365 days, contains no personal information and is required for the site to respect your choice. No other cookie or storage is used before you decide.
When is Google Analytics loaded?
Only after you accept the analytics category. Until then nothing from Google is loaded and no _ga cookie is set. If you accept, Google Analytics 4 runs under Consent Mode v2 with advertising storage denied, and sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies for two years, as documented by Google. If you later refuse, they are cleared.
Does the site use marketing or advertising cookies?
No. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies on sentrix.ca, and no sales-intelligence or visitor-identification script runs on the site. Contact form data is sent to our team by email and is not linked to any tracker. Vercel Web Analytics, if enabled on the production site, is cookieless and aggregated.
How do I change my choice?
Click « Manage cookies » in the footer of any page to reopen the consent modal and accept or refuse the analytics category. You can also delete the sentrix_consent cookie in your browser, in which case the modal appears again on your next visit. Refusing analytics does not affect any function of the site.
