GoSec 2026: Sentrix on the Purple panel

GoSec is Canada's annual cybersecurity summit: two days at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, a main stage and three parallel tracks, more than fifty speakers, and a community that runs from SOC teams to compliance leadership. The Purple panel

Purple teaming brings attack and defence into the same exercise: offensive operators replay the real techniques of active groups, defenders measure what they detect, and the gap becomes a work plan. The Purple panel, hosted by Anne-Marie Faber (Sercle) and sponsored by Cybereco, puts that practice up for debate between four points of view: offensive security with Charles F. Hamilton (CYPFER), the community with Olivier Bilodeau (NorthSec), detection with Michael Mazza (GoSecure), and governance with William Georges Khouri, CEO of Sentrix.

Our angle: a purple exercise that does not end in a control register is a lost exercise. Every replayed technique maps to a control in a framework (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, CMMC), every missed detection is an exposure to prioritize, and that is exactly what the platform's CTEM module tracks over time.
